Helping dogs and their people
Amy is a Veterinary Nurse and a dedicated animal advocate. Growing up in rural Yorkshire England, she was surrounded by dogs, cats, goats, chickens and ponies. Home has always housed injured wildlife and foster animals in need of care.
Amy has worked in both Equine and Small Animal Veterinary Nursing for over 28 years across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Sydney. Since 2019 Amy has been a proud member of the wonderful Vaucluse Vet team where she has trained dogs of all breeds and sizes. Amy uses positive reinforcement techniques to build strong bonds and teach dogs new behaviours.
"Dog training is profoundly rewarding. I love the whole process. My life-long love of dogs and passion to help them, makes teaching puppy school a dream come true. Training with the Delta Institute, gave me the skills to make the dream into reality."
Amy is passionate about helping dogs reach their full potential and works tirelessly to ensure that every dog receives the best possible care and attention.
At home, she has a dog-loving husband, twin human-boys and three of the worlds best dog-kids (when they're not stealing food!) Oliver the Cavoodle, Buffy the Boxer-cross and Rosie the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
